Hello everyone!
Merry Christmas and Happy holidays to you all!
Since it's getting close to that time of year again, I decided to make a batch of cookies the other day. Sugar cookies to be exact, but with a festive twist!
They came out really well. Tasted and looked great! I posted them on here a few days ago, and I was surprised that you guys liked the looks of them so much haha
So, I decided to give you guys the recipe that I've made to try these out at home!
They're not hard at all to make, probably pretty easy actually, but if you want to make your cookies look like mine then I'm happy to share how to do it!

- Makes: 3 dozen cookies
- Prep: 20 mins
- Cook: 8-10 mins
- Ready in: 20 mins
What you'll need:
- 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup butter, softened/creamy
- 1 1/2 cups white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (or as much as you'd like)
- Red & green food coloring
- Festive sprinkles
When I added 1 cup of butter it didn't seem to be enough, so when I started mixing it all together the dough came out a little loose and wouldn't stick together right. If that happens to you, then simply add about another quarter of softened butter to the mix. Make sure the butter is almost creamy.
Once these cookies are ready for the oven you better watch them closely, because they'll be ready in hardly any time at all!
Prep time!
Once these cookies are ready for the oven you better watch them closely, because they'll be ready in hardly any time at all!
Prep time!
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). In a small bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in egg and vanilla. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients.
- Once the ingredients are mixed together, separate the dough into two perfect halves, place each half in a bowl. Put a few drops of red food coloring in one bowl of dough, and green in the other. Mix together with a big spoon, or hands until the color is fully blended. Roll rounded teaspoonsful of dough into balls.
- After you shape the dough into balls, put sprinkles in a small bowl (individual bowl for each color) Roll each ball in the sprinkles, then place on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until they've risen. Let stand on cookie sheet two minutes before removing to cool on wire racks.
- Eat and enjoy!
Done!
If any of you use this recipe, or try it out for the holidays, I'd love to hear from you! I would be curious to hear how your cookies came out!

Hello everyone. I sincerely hope you're all doing well
Life Stuff
Hey guys, hope y'all are doing good! I know it's a Monday, but hopefully for a Monday you're doing alright haha Just wanted to share with you guys how I'm doing. I know I don't do it as often as I should, but sometimes it's hard to put myself out there and share my feelings without feeling like I'm complaining lol The past week into this week have been.. interesting, to say the least haha Things at work have been frustrating and stressful lately, and unfortunately I cannot go into further detail about it :/ Also, one of my coworkers has been sick for over a week, so I took over all of their shifts, plus my own, so I've been mentally/physically exhausted from that experience lol Things in my personal life are.. okay. Just been noticing that there has been some hostile frustration going on with someone I care about, and they've been bottling up emotions recently.. Makes things very stressful on my end since I've been kinda left in the dark about it until very recently, and only know
Going on Vacation!
Hey everyone! Hope you're all doing well, and are enjoying this lovely time of year that is transitioning into the cooler months. Just wanted to let you all know that I'll be on vacation for a bit, so if my responses are delayed that's probably why. However, scheduled posting will be in order as usual, so you'll still be seeing artwork from me! My boyfriend, his parents, and myself will be heading up to upper-state New York/Vermont to enjoy the beautiful lake we'll be staying at, along with a kayak ride along said lake, which will take us to an island! We'll also enjoy some beautiful scenery by hiking some caverns and hillsides, go to local farmers markets to cook "homemade" dishes, and even venture into town to explore the lovely shops! I've had a pretty rough past few weeks, not gonna lie.. so, I really need to get out of the house and enjoy just feeling a little better. I'll probably let you all know the sad news in a deviation soon. For now though, have a good day/night
Just to let you know~
Hello! Just letting you all know that I'm sorry if I haven't gotten to any messages/comments yet from the past few weeks, or so.. I have read all of them, and I really do, sincerely appreciate every kind word, helpful tips/advice, and interesting pieces of feedback I have received. I really enjoy reading things from all of you (and some even brighten my day!), and I do feel a tad guilty when I cannot find the time to answer each and every one of you, since I have become extremely busy with juggling my job, hobbies, personal life, and being with loved ones. I'll get to you all eventually (even if it may take some time), but please, just know that I am here, and I do read everything! Also, I am currently putting my posts on a scheduling system, so I can still share my work with you all, even when I may be away and too busy to post at the time. So please, enjoy what I post until I can catch up, and actually be more active here! With that being said- I hope you all had a great
